One Volunteer Deposit form per family



Volunteer Requirement


  • Each Piranha-Waves Swim Team family is required to make a $50 volunteer deposit and work a minimum of 4 half meets or events per family. Remember this is the least number of times you need to volunteer and may be required to volunteer beyond this minimum.
  • Volunteer signup and waiver is online for 2018 season, and will be available once registration opens. You will be sent a link to our volunteer page and will have to enter your demographic info on the first visit.
  • If you are unable to volunteer you must send an email 48 hours prior to the meet.
  • Please include your name, phone number and your swimmer(s) name and age. We will first try to find a way how you can help or possibly have you work two positions the next meet. 
  • If there is a last minute change due to an emergency (sickness, work schedule, running late for your shift etc.) you need to call or text the Team Coordinator ASAP. 
  • At the meet volunteers must sign-in 5 min before their shift. This is very important. We need to know who is ready for their shift. This will alleviate having to try and “hunt down” volunteers. 
  • Training will be available at the ‘mock’ meet b. These "trained" volunteer positions are essential to running the meets. 
Team events consist of the weekly swim meets and the end of season party. 



The Volunteer Requirement waiver must be affirmed for your volunteer signup to begin.
