Piranhas make Waves!

This page is intended to address some of your initial questions surrounding the merger. Please read through it carefully and contact either Renise, Taneyha or Ute at pwswims@gmail.com for additional questions.

Q: What is the registration process:
A: Complete the form online, pay online or in person, complete volunteer sign up and pay the volunteer deposit.

Q: Where will practices be held?
A: Practices will be held at both Paces Club and Chastain Lakes pools.

Q: What are the registration fees?
A: See our registration page for details

Q: Who do I contact with questions?
A: Best way to get in contact is to either send an email to pwswims@gmail.com or to our Facebook Group.

Q: Can Chastain Lakes families join the Piranhas Facebook group?
A: Yes absolutely! The name of the group has been updated to Piranha-Waves and families from both locations are encouraged to participate.

Q: What is the new practice schedule?
A: There are not new practice schedules. Both locations will continue their practice schedules from last season.

Q: Does the merger change the volunteer requirement?
A: Yes it does for Piranhas families. All parents are still expected to volunteer and make a volunteer deposit.

Q: Where do I go to register online?
A: When registration opens in early March, go to active.com, search for Piranha-Waves then click large register button. An email will be sent to all families to invite you to register.

Q: Will my information transfer from the old system into the new one?
A: No. In order to have a fresh start we are asking that all families go through the registration process fully.

Q: Can I register online and pay in-person still?
A: Yes you can. You can also register and pay online too.

Q: Will I have to sign any waivers?
A: Yes. The team has concussion, photo and participation and a volunteer agreement. All waivers are now electronic and either a part of registration or volunteer signup.

Q: Will there be a coach at each pool?
A: Yes there will be a head coach at each pool.

Q: Are we having separate or a combined team photo?
A: A combined team photo day will be combined with a team Meet n' Greet. Once we have a date we will let you know.
